History of Seaside Family Dental

Seaside Family Dental was purchased in January 2000; it was an established practice with three prior dentists. Originally the office was located near the coast and approximately 15 years ago was relocated to the current location. Since that time, the initial patient base has multiplied by 10 fold to approximately 5000 active patients. From the very start of purchasing this practice, increasing the patient base, was done by streamlining personnel and procedures for maximum efficiency, this has also increased patient convenience.

Though the office still offers general and cosmetic dentistry, in 2003, Dr. Kettlewell finished a mini-residency program in advanced implant surgery, so the office now offers a full line of implant procedures including the restorations needed to finish the procedures.

Typically we reserve one day a week to do sedation dentistry, usually Fridays, which gives the patient the weekend to recover from both the procedures and the sedation medications.

In the future we would like to expand the office by utilizing a conference room and converting this room into another operatory, adding yet another chair and allowing room for an associate in this practice.
